"You are a successful mother"

Yesterday, at the clinic, our family doctor compliment my two girls and said "You are a successful mother".

I was flattered! Flattered not because of my daughters' academic achievements, appearance, talents but because of their obedience.

My highest priority as a mother is to mould my children to be obedient and have good, positive values in their life. Hopefully they will be useful people, fear of God (but not man) and had a happy childhood.

I'm so proud to say that my children are still very close to me. Listens and obey. They know that I love them very much. As a measurement of success... I think I have scored well! However, I wished I had modelled myself better as a child to my parents and as a believer in Christ. There is always room for improvement, right?

(Hannah had quite a serious 'foong mok'/hives and was very, very itchy. I couldn't bear to see her suffering though I know very well it will go away later the day. So I took her to see a doctor.)

I wish for the day to come too when I can smile and know in my heart boyboy will walk right with God ALL of the time.

It is a mother's greatest desire, fear, joy, pride.

You are a great mummy.

Our job as a parent is never done. But the joy that they bring, besides the madness, makes everything worthwhile.

All these show that you are so needed and important in the family. Just need to remind the children to be thankful and appreciative, and not take things/people for granted.

Way to go, sis! Keep up the good work as a mummy to the precious princesses God has placed in your life.

Alyssa has progressed very well. I'm so grateful and thankful God has been there for me through all the challenges in bringing up my girls.

Ann - You're doing fantastic.

Suzanne - Thanks, sis. You always understands me.
