Last Friday, I happen to help a mother who was trying to get into her locked car after picking up her daughter from school. She left her 2 year daughter and car key inside her car and went across to get her schooling daughter. Little did she knew that the 2 year girl could press down the car door lock!
After I got Alyssa & went into our car, I saw the mother (Jade) was trying to make calls on her handphone while teaching the little girl to unlock her car. I waited awhile and something prompt me that I must help her. So, I also join in trying to teach the little girl to unlock the car. BUT FAILED!
Jade couldn't contact her husband and there was no one at home. She asked me to fetch her home to get her car spare key and leave the two girls and car behind. We did that and also asked the school traffic control person to keep an eye on the girls. Oh ya! She has to break into her own house and climb over the auto gate as her house keys were also in the car. Guess what she managed to. Her hubby taught her how...I wonder why.
By the time we got back to her car, there was a big group of passer-by surrounding the car. Malaysians! Never fail to enjoy free life shows.
Well, this is the first time after 2 1/2 years of picking up Alyssa from school, I was really, really late. She has to wait like 20 minutes or so. That evening, I already plan to run at the park. The sky was clear and it was really hot. So I waited for the sun to set a bit first. And that ruined my schedule.
You see, I normally make her wait for 5 - 8 minutes only. Her class is the last one to come out. By then traffic is lesser as most cars, vans, MPVs and busses would have left. Then the mummies who just don't like to wait there will come in their cars, taking overall the 'parking' spots.
Actually I still can't imagine why Jade is so confident that she left her car key in the car. Anyway, I'm sure everyone has their reasons behind their own acts. Shouldn't judge her. Through this incident, I got to know another mother at my area here and she is really nice and friendly.
