Retreat at Port Dickson (Part 2)

It’s a Sunday morning. The Cell Group gathered for a mini Sunday Worship. Children, as usual, were having fun playing baby Isaac’s toys. And then baby Cynthia knocked onto wooden frame of the day bed. When God’s people come together, the evil one likes to attack! Sigh!

It’s lunch time! We went to Lukut town for lunch. There is a stall that sells curry chicken in a bun. Sounds nothing unusual? Wait till you look at it. Can serve 3 – 4 people. It’s a size of a chicken. This delicacy is also famous in Kampar, Perak. We also ordered some noodles, sotong and vegie.

It’s afternoon session time. After all the stomachs were full (very full indeed), we went back to hotel. I shared on the topic Parenting. I’m not an expert in parenting but slightly more experienced than the rest of the group. Hopefully it was short enough to avoid baby being too cranky and useful enough to all the parents there.

It’s swimming pool time! We had a lot of fun in the pool. Who will not? Babies didn’t want to go out of the pool including my little girl. However, baby Cynthia was crying when water touched her. We failed to get her in the pool. Next time ya!

It’s dinner time! We went to Weng Yin Seafood Restaurant in Teluk Kemang, just before Goaman Hotel. It was packed with people. In fact most hotels were fully booked during this long weekend. We managed to get two tables in the restaurant after a short wait. But the food was a long wait. We had chicken fillet, fish fillet, fried sotong, bamboo clams, fried oyster, claypot tofu and vegie. (Sorry, no pictures taken here cause all babies were sleepy and the place was quite warm that night.)

Everyone was tired….so we went back and zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

It’s beach time! After breakfast in hotel, we went to Teluk Kemang beach. The place was so happening. PN needed a place to put bags and sit down. Well, there were tents and beach chairs lay along the beach. If you want to use, you got to pay. It was for rental at RM20 per day.

“Take picture…take picture….”

Arielle and Zoe were busy digging in the sand. Proud parents with camera busy taking winning shots. Others just enjoying the sea, sand, sun and each others company.

It was a great trip, to me. My children had a lot fun. Hubby managed to get enough rest (awesome bed). We contributed to Cuti-cuti Malaysia and the economy. Looking forward for my next holiday!

Cutest baby : Isaac
Best behaved baby : Zoe
Loudest baby : Christopher
Most quiet baby : Cynthia (except pool time)
Most bright baby : Arielle
